Xmas party on an Asian theme (dance contest): The Communication Research Department, led by Dean Neny Pernia and Chair Chen San Pascual, presented highlights of  Japanese pop culture with Comm Res faculty members garbed in Japanese Lolita,  Gyaru, fairy kei fashion (doll-like dresses), singing live and dancing to iconic Japanese pop tunes (the embedded song is the opening, interpreted with music-box mannequin movements),  topping the dance medley with: Voltes V martial law era in the Philippines: NEVER AGAIN NEVER FORGET!

Very hip, fun, and creative! Showcasing live singing as well! (posted four hours ago, or before the announcement of winners) Updated: This colorful musical tableau won first prize 🙂

(babalik kami to challenge next Christmas!)
