breaking news: Egypt brokers Israel-Hamas ceasefire, to start in one hour  

— that’s my head, and that would be part of my lead if i were to write a news report: i’ll lead off with Egypt: it is successfully exercising leadership in the region and enjoys the respect and recognition of the warring parties.
