On the theme of remembering, the UPCMC Law on Mass Media and Communication class members honor all those who fought for our freedoms, and remember family and friends who “raised us up to more than we can be” on Oct. 25, 2023 at the UPCMC Veranda in a game-based learning activity based on songs composed by Levi Celerio and Restie Umali, Ely Buendia and Eraserheads, Ben & Ben, Juan Karlos, Rolf Løvland and Brendan Graham (Josh Groban version, “You Raise Me Up”) as they answer quiz questions on Justice Black, concurring in New York Times vs. US, Justice Leonen, separate and concurring in ABS-CBN vs. NTC (and not the majority opinion which did not traverse transcendental constitutional law issues on the ground of “mootness”), and the arguments of then Dean Irene Cortes, Perfecto Fernandez, Haydee Yorac and Joker Arroyo in Gonzales vs. Kalaw-Katigbak.
