The 9th Media Monitor or any bonus not yet submitted can be posted here, on the same guidelines and instructions. This is the ninth — as stated many times before: any monitor not posted on the deadline is considered forfeited, which means the points of a student who did not post for that week is zero.
Just as a heads-up, the seventh and final bonus is on the news coverage of the final presidential debate on April 24, 2016. This bonus should be a review of the conduct of the debate by the host-news organization or by the news hosts themselves. It also includes news coverage of the debate (news, news features, “polls”, interviews of so-called “political analysts”, etc.).
There will be no required media monitor on exam week (second week of May) in order to give time for students to review their notes in preparation for the exam.
Therefore, the TENTH media monitor or any bonus not yet posted will be submitted in the last week of April. As stated many times before: No cramming or jamming up of posts will be allowed: only one media monitor per week will be given points. The purpose of this exercise, as stated many times before, is to build the habit of regularly viewing or reading media content with a discerning eye.
The ELEVENTH and FINAL media monitor or any bonus not yet posted will be submitted in the first week of May. No need to sing “My Way”, the end is not yet near.
[As stated many times before: A forfeited monitor can no longer be posted on any week, e.g., (or for example): For the 8th media monitor, all posts are for the 8th, the 6th can no longer be posted as the 6th on the 8th, i.e., if you are only on your “6th”, it means that your 6th and 7th got zero and everyone who is updated are already on their 8th. To be redundant about it: The student needs to regularly read and view media content with a heightened consciousness (at least once a week) — cramming, jamming up posts, dump-submission, etc are not allowed.
