Batangas Earthquake Survivors’ Videos: Shot at the height of the #BatangasEarthquake

Hail to the people of Mabini, Batangas

(south of Manila) who,

during the earthquake yesterday,

prevailed over all fear

and peacefully headed for safety,

(there was no jostling, pushing or thievery),

and who showed strength, resilience,  presence of mind,  compassion

and humor (even the Jollibee mascot, at minute 3:50- 3:52  of the video, was so calm that he walked on the street in his giant Jollibee costume) …

in a life-threatening situation such as the earthquake (Magnitude 6) yesterday.

This playlist is dedicated to our brave Batangueños

(if you’re viewing this on mobile, you’ll need to click the soundcloud pod below the youtube vid, at the foot of this post, for the playlist- tnx:) )
