The department assistant will be on holiday break from Dec. 19 to Jan. 8 — Posts emailed to the department admin staff after Dec. 18 will not be opened until after Jan 8. Students who want to continue their media monitor once a week after Dec. 18 may do so by uploading the comments in their own platforms (FB, tumblr, Blogspot, WordPress, long Twit, etc.) and pasting the link here or tweeting it; you may also upload directly here by clicking on the Comments prompt and typing or pasting (the software allows only one hyperlink per comment). The first quarterly test will push thru tomorrow, no excuses allowed.

Provisions: 1)avoiding “improper emphasis” and “distortion by omission of facts 2) airing all sides to a conflict; 3) correcting errors; 4) avoiding “degrading any person by reason of sex, creed, religion, belief, etc”; 5)observing the presumption of innocence; etc.
